Long Arm Machine Quilting Services
The A-1 Professional Long Arm Quilting Machine can quilt many traditional, contemporary and artistic freehand designs. There are an assortment of pantographs and designs to choose from, or we can create a freehand design specific for your quilt.
Basic custom quilting starts at 2.5 cents per square inch. Intricate custom quilting which can be detailed outlining, small designs or motifs, echoing of patterns,or stitch in the ditch is 3-5 cents per square inch.
Batting can be purchased in the shop or you can provide your own. We have Warm and Natural 100% Cotton, Hobbs Organic Cotton and Hobbs 80/20.
Thread is provided in the cost of the quilting. We use Valdani which is one of the highest quality quilting threads. We have an array of colors including varigated hand dyed threads. There will be a charge if switching back and forth from different thread colors.
Binding is not included. Binding is priced per linear foot. This is the amount of feet around the quilt. There are several methods for binding quilts. Basic binding with machine stitching is $2.50 per linear foot. Basic binding with an added decorative edge is $3.00 per linear foot. Hand stitching the binding onto the back is $3.50 per linear foot.
